Cashpumpkin is a Chrome extension for analyzing rental property deals. This policy explains what information it handles.

Your deals stay on your computer

Everything you enter in Cashpumpkin stays in your own browser's storage on your computer: addresses, prices, rents, notes, comps and your settings. We never send it to us or anyone else, and we can't see it. If you uninstall Cashpumpkin, that data is deleted.

When you paste listing text or a listing link, Cashpumpkin reads the facts it needs (like price, bedrooms and ZIP code) on your computer and then discards the pasted text. It never opens or reads listing websites.

Public data Cashpumpkin downloads

Rents (HUD Fair Market Rents) and property tax rates (US Census) are built into the extension. To keep mortgage rates current, Cashpumpkin downloads Freddie Mac's public weekly rate file about twice a day. That request sends nothing about you or your deals.

Subscriptions and payments

Cashpumpkin includes a 7-day free trial, after which it costs $9 per month. You don't need an account, email address or card to use the free trial.

Subscriptions are handled by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), and card payments are processed by Stripe (stripe.com). To check whether your trial or subscription is active, the extension sends ExtensionPay a random ID for your install. It sends nothing about your deals.

When you subscribe or log in, you give your email address and payment details directly to ExtensionPay and Stripe. We receive your email address and your subscription status so we can provide support. We never receive or store your full card number. ExtensionPay's and Stripe's own privacy policies cover how they handle your information.

This website

cashpumpkin.com uses no cookies, analytics or tracking code. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent your information. We don't use it for advertising. We don't track the websites you visit. Cashpumpkin uses no analytics or tracking code.
